Televox is Lorenz (Vocals/Guitar), Renaud (Bass) and Xavier (Drums)
TELEVOX are a three-piece rock/indie band founded in 2000 by singer/songwriter Lorenz Plassmann. Originally based in Paris, they toured for a year before they received positive feedback at MIDEM 2002 (an exhibition attended by music industry professionals) in Cannes, which lead to them signing to CATGANG Prod for two years and releasing a 6-track CD. The band continued to tour, and are now working on their next album which will be accompanied by another tour upon its completion. TELEVOX, although originally based in France, are expanding to the UK and US, and hope to begin touring there this year. They have received positive reviews on online music publications, as well as newspapers and Les Inrocks, a popular French music magazine. A recent, notable piece of media recognition was on the Coca-Cola 'Best Unsigned Bands in Europe' podcast, hosted by UK comedians Adam & Joe. TELEVOX were one of the bands selected, and received an extremely good review from the presenters, sparking other positive online reviews. Currently, a TELEVOX track, 'Rescue Time' is being released on a 'Best Of' compilation sponsored by Les Inrocks.
